**Job Summary**

We are seeking two Support Workers to join our team and provide support to a young man with complex needs.

**About the Role**

The successful candidates will work together to support the young man to access the community, engage in activities he enjoys, and maintain his personal care needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide 2:1 support with transportation and accessing the community

• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and changing

• Engage in activities with the young man, such as exploring his environment and playing with sensory toys and musical instruments

• Support the young man to use his hoist and special seat for bathing

• Communicate effectively with the young man, who is visually impaired

**Requirements**

The successful candidates will have the skills and experience to provide high-quality support to the young man. They will also be trained and supported by the young man's parents, who are the employer.
