We specialize in providing tailored case management services for individuals recovering from acquired or traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and associated disabilities or conditions.

Please note that we do not offer sponsorship for this role, and therefore, we cannot progress candidates who require a certificate of sponsorship to work in the UK.

We are seeking a skilled support worker to assist a 10-year-old boy with cerebral palsy in his own home. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates through facial expressions and gestures, enabling him to express his wishes and preferences to those who know him well.

The role involves enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social, and recreational activities, while empowering him to be as independent as possible.

Flexible support will be required, including care during holidays and weekends.

We are looking for staff with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing individualized support. Previous experience in care, particularly with children, is preferred.

The client requires full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.

The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training for this role, input from therapists, and regular supervision by the Case Manager.

A full UK driving license is essential.

About you:

  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Experience in delivering therapy programs is desirable, but full training will be provided.
  • Dependable and professional, with a strong sense of honesty and discretion
  • Experience working with young adults with physical and cognitive impairments is essential, with a positive attitude and ability to motivate and engage
  • Previous experience working with clients with brain injuries is preferred
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and enroll in the DBS update service
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure

CCMS is not an employment agency; we help our clients recruit their own support workers as part of our case management service. You will be employed directly by the client, with CCMS overseeing all aspects of the client's care package.
