Fixed Term

We are seeking to appoint an Archivist to manage and develop access to the library's outstanding Christian Brethren Archive. The post is 35 hours per week (full time) until 31 March 2025, with the possibility of an extension subject to securing external funding.

The Christian Brethren Archive is a significant collection in the world relating to a group of independent Christian congregations. You will be responsible for managing and developing access to this archive, ensuring its preservation and making it available to academic audiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing the Christian Brethren Archive
  • Ensuring the preservation and conservation of the archive
  • Developing access to the archive for academic audiences
  • Collaborating with colleagues to promote the archive and its significance
