We are committed to achieving commercial excellence in everything we do. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager at Radius, you will play a key role in driving our commercial success and delivering high-quality projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert quantity surveying services, including estimating, cost planning, and tendering. You will also be responsible for managing consultant and contractor relationships, developing and implementing cost-saving strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a challenging role that requires strong commercial and contract management skills. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, ideally within the data centre industry or similar sectors.

We offer a competitive salary package of £70,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert quantity surveying services, including estimating, cost planning, and tendering.
  • Manage consultant and contractor relationships, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies, improving profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring transparency and compliance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in quantity surveying and commercial management, preferably within the data centre industry.
  • Proven track record in managing complex construction projects, with a focus on cost control and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience in risk management, with a focus on identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Solid understanding of contract law and commercial principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
