As a Quantity Surveyor at Magic Mondayz, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial success of our building and civil engineering projects. We require an individual with strong analytical and numerical skills to manage all costs related to these projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs, and monitor and control project costs to maintain quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project requirements are met, and prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules.
  4. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, and conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
  5. Manage variations and claims, ensuring proper documentation and justification, and stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations, as well as proficiency in quantity surveying software, is essential.
  • We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and professional membership (e.g., RICS) preferred but not mandatory.

Competitive salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per annum, performance-based bonuses, opportunities for professional development and training, and a dynamic work environment.
