As a Senior Project Scheduler at MBDA, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in project planning and control within a collaborative and encouraging environment.

The role involves leading the validation of individual project assessments, identifying issues and risks within the project, and steering the validation of project level schedules as accurate and coherent with programme planning principles.

You will be responsible for generating the integrated baseline schedule to successfully deliver the programme in accordance with planning principles, validating project level costs to go as accurate and appropriate, including assessment of outlying forecasts, to support the EAC.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and develop your career in project management. You will have the chance to work on various projects, applying your knowledge of Baseline Management and Change Control, and owning the quality of the project control reporting suite.

In this role, you will also be involved in risk & opportunities / what-if analysis, and contribute to project estimate at completion / forecast cost at completion reviews.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £62,000 per annum (dependent on experience), up to 14% pension contribution, company bonus up to £2,500, paid overtime, and enhanced parental leave. We also provide fantastic site facilities, including subsidised meals and free car parking.

  • Planning experience - ranging from detailed planning to summary level milestone delivery plans.
  • Capability in creating and maintaining project structures (WBS/CBS/OBS).
  • Experience in generating and analysing project performance data (schedule, resource, and cost).
  • Ability to perform and analyse SRA/Critical Path Analysis/EVM.
  • Experience of Project Management Toolsets (SAP/ARM/Primavera/Oracle Unifier).
