About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Engineer to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our Hertford Fitness & Wellbeing Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all building services, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of energy-efficient practices and initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in building services maintenance and operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- IOSHH qualification and/or equivalent experience.
