Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a technically complex major project to success within the NATO JEWCS IPT at Leonardo. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall ownership and management of the project, ensuring Schedule, Cost, and Quality adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the project lifecycle, including Stakeholder Management, Lifecycle Management, Team Leadership, and Risk Management.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and ensure cross-project alignment.
  • Lead internal reporting to IPT Lead and present project summary status at Sector project reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to Leonardo's Lifecycle Management (LCM) processes.
  • Liaise with Engineering and Production Managers as required.
  • Liaise with Functional Groups to ensure projects are appropriately resourced.
  • Have accountability for Contract and Project delivery.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multi-disciplined teams in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrate experience with complex projects in a military environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to operate with multiple senior Stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong Customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate experience in all aspects of project planning, scheduling, work package management, sub-contract management, and cost control.
  • Hold a degree in a business or engineering related discipline.
  • Meet the requirements for registration as a full member of the Association of Project Managers (APM).

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects in a military environment.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
