About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our community team. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, holistic care to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with their personal care, including moving, positioning, and mobilizing them, while observing their general condition and reporting any changes as required.
  • Support patients with their nutritional needs and update the patient record system.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification and previous experience in a healthcare setting. You should be aware of the physical and emotional needs of patients suffering from a life-limiting illness and those of their relatives and carers. A kind and caring approach is essential, as well as good teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
