About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fleet maintenance, availability, efficiency, and safety. This includes driving fleet performance, ensuring high standards are met across all locations, and implementing best practices to maximize operational effectiveness and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fleet Operations Management
    • Ensure optimal fleet availability, utilization, and safety across all regions by developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Manage the allocation and movement of vehicles across locations to meet demand efficiently, maintaining balance between operational needs and cost control.
  • Maintenance & Safety Standards
    • Lead preventive maintenance strategies to ensure the fleet's reliability and reduce downtime, working closely with the maintenance and technical teams.
    • Set and enforce safety standards for fleet operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Oversee vehicle inspection programs and ensure that all vehicles in the fleet meet regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Technology & Process Improvement
    • Leverage fleet management systems to monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), using insights to inform strategic decisions.
    • Drive the adoption of technology solutions that enhance fleet efficiency, such as telematics, GPS tracking, and automated maintenance alerts.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience of at least 8+ years in fleet operations management, logistics, or a similar role with a strong track record of leading and optimizing large-scale fleet operations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills; experience in utilizing data to drive fleet performance improvements and optimize operational costs.
  • Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships effectively.
