Behaviour Intervention Specialist

About the Role:

This role is for a Behaviour Intervention Specialist to work in a Specialist school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with pupils with A.S.D and SEMH, providing interventions and cover classes across the school.

The successful candidate will have a timetable to provide support for the development of day-to-day and academic skills as well as social emotional needs, in preparation for their transition to secondary education. As part of this role, the school would like the successful candidate to complement the work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities both in and out of school, under an agreed system of supervision that supports the teacher with learning outcomes.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
