About the Role

Mentus Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor or Associate Specialist to join our team in a CAMHS unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical assessment, review, and evaluation to young people under our care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, formulate, and develop treatment plans for young people with eating disorders in CAMHS
  • Ensure seamless handovers to colleagues, including out-of-hours coverage when on call
  • Collaborate with other professionals and family members to gather collateral history
  • Prepare and submit discharge letters, reports, and forms in a timely manner
  • Provide high-quality treatment under the direction of a Consultant Psychiatrist
  • Assess referrals and conduct mental state examinations of service users

Requirements
  • Full GMC registration
  • Experience working in psychiatry within multidisciplinary teams
  • To be in good standing for CPD with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • To be linked in with an appraisal process within the last year
  • At least 3 years' experience in psychiatry
  • Experience working as a doctor within a similar environment
