Autism Spectrum Disorder Educator

GSL Education - London is looking for a highly motivated Autism Spectrum Disorder Educator to join our team in Newham. In this rewarding role, you will provide targeted support to students with Autism, enhancing their learning and development in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
About the RoleThis full-time, long-term position involves working closely with children on the Autism spectrum in both one-to-one or small group settings. You will assist in implementing tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Health Care Plans (IHCPs), adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver individualized support to students with Autism, addressing their academic and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement tailored education plans for students with Autism.
- Contribute to planning and preparing differentiated classroom activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Promote positive behaviors and emotional well-being among students, aligning with the school's ethos.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess experience working with children, preferably in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting. A CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent is preferred.
Salary: £96,000 per year. Benefits include the potential to secure a permanent contract and working in a modern school environment with access to excellent resources and facilities.
