Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work in a paediatric ambulatory team, providing expert care to patients undergoing day case and ongoing medical treatment plans. The successful candidate will work closely with paediatric consultants to deliver high-quality patient care and develop skills in extended roles.

Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to a complex caseload of patients, taking professional and legal responsibility for all aspects of their work. They will also develop skills in advanced clinical assessment, making referrals to other healthcare professionals, and performing procedures such as PICC line insertion and lumbar punctures. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to strategic planning within the department, the education of the multi-disciplinary team, and departmental research and quality improvement programmes.
