About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Director to lead our analytics & optimisation function, focusing on data analysis, tool development, and delivering strategic decision-making across logistics stakeholders.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering growth and proficiency within the analytics team, guiding the prioritisation of tasks, and serving as a dependable mentor and point of escalation during challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main interface for senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance and support in data-driven solutions.
  • Lead a skilled team of analysts, promoting excellence in data analysis and tool development.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with logistics stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in commercial data analytics.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with previous line management experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various functions.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, data visualisation, and data automation tools.
  • A background in commercial data analytics, with evidence of delivering value.
