About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Director to lead our analytics & optimisation function, focusing on data analysis, tool development, and delivering strategic decision-making across logistics stakeholders.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering growth and proficiency within the analytics team, guiding the prioritisation of tasks, and serving as a dependable mentor and point of escalation during challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main interface for senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance and leadership in data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data analysis tools, leveraging SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, and Python to drive business insights.
  • Collaborate with logistics stakeholders to deliver strategic decision-making, championing excellence in data-driven solutions.
  • Lead a skilled team of analysts, promoting growth, and proficiency, and guiding the prioritisation of tasks.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with previous line management experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively with stakeholders across various functions.
  • A background in commercial data analytics, with evidence of delivering value.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, data visualisation, and data automation tools.
