Primary Teacher - Year 4 Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Teacher to join our team in the DE7 area.

This full-time role is focused on teaching Year 4, creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and student well-being.

Ideal for ECTs or teachers with HLTA experience, this position offers a great opportunity for professional development and career advancement in a collaborative setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Year 4 Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for Year 4 students, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and collaboration.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development and achievement.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with colleagues and engage with parents to ensure student success and well-being, maintaining open communication and building strong relationships.
  • Supportive Classroom Management: Uphold school policies, maintaining a respectful and encouraging environment that promotes student engagement, learning, and social skills.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field, such as Early Childhood Education or Special Education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, demonstrating a strong understanding of educational principles and practices.
  • Primary Teaching Experience: ECTs are encouraged to apply, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas to the role.
  • Strong Knowledge of the National Curriculum: Particularly for Key Stage 2, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective implementation.
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills, enabling effective collaboration and efficient management of resources.

The estimated salary for this position is £42,624 - £51,654 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour week and a starting salary of £29,915.
