Emotional Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Emotional Support Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored emotional support to students in need, helping them navigate their feelings and develop coping strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide 1 to 1 and group support to children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with educational staff.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting trust and emotional safety.
- Help students identify and express their emotions in a healthy manner.
- Facilitate social skills development and conflict resolution.
- Monitor and track student progress, reporting on emotional and behavioural change.
The Right Candidate:
We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for supporting children and a strong educational background in Psychology, Criminology or Education. Strong communication skills and patience are essential for this role.
