About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join our team at 2000 SPTS Technologies Limited and contribute to the development of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design activities through manufacturing process development and specification
  • Review and amend drawings, assembly instructions, and BOM structures, as well as review and approve Engineering Change Orders
  • Develop and maintain 2D drawings with Auto-CAD Electrical in conjunction with Enovia
  • Continuously improve SOPs and introduce checklists for Top 5 Customer system assembly and test
  • Help introduce a robust process for tracking serialisation of critical components
  • Generate customer presentations describing testing criteria and results obtained when component change is unavoidable
  • Lead in-house system assembly and test, CE audit champion
  • Pre-shipment and on-site post-installation CE audit champion

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering subject area or HND/HNC with proven experience
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD Solid Edge/SolidWorks
  • Understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 for wiring and harness assemblies and IPC A-610H for electrical assembly
