Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vaccination Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Immunisation Team, you will play a vital role in delivering the national school-based vaccination program and supporting public health strategies to optimise immunisation uptake.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development, planning, and delivery of Immunisation programs in various environments
  • Undertake health assessments prior to Immunisation, ensuring adherence to national guidance and best evidence-based practice
  • Liaise with schools, families, and other organisations to promote Immunisations and obtain informed consent
  • Deliver Immunisations while maintaining safe and best practice
  • Act as a resource for professionals, providing education and support on Immunisation-related matters
Requirements:
  • NMC Registration
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Experience of working within the community (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Immunisation and Vaccination programs
  • Safeguarding children

We offer a competitive salary of £35,745 per annum, plus benefits.
