Job Description: Healthcare Equipment Specialist

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and organized Healthcare Equipment Specialist to join their team.

About the Position:

  • This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing technical support and maintaining accurate records of equipment.

Key Tasks:

  1. Managing the storage and distribution of sterile medical/dental instruments and equipment within the hospital.
  2. Monitoring and reporting on equipment usage and maintenance requirements.
  3. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and replaced as needed.
  4. Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
  5. Developing and implementing processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment management.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of approximately £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
