Maintenance Electrician Opportunity

Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision parts, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team in Wiltshire. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various pieces of plant and equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical maintenance and installation of industrial and domestic plant, including BMS, boilers, AHU's, hot and cold-water systems, chillers, and DFU's.
  • Log and schedule maintenance activities using a maintenance system, ensuring that proactive, periodic, and preventative maintenance are completed in line with production requirements.
  • Monitor and improve maintenance processes in line with OEM standards, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available.
  • Act as a mentor and guide for Electrical/Mechanical/Maintenance apprentices, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition in BS7671:2018 IET Wire Regulations.
  • Previous experience with various types of shop floor equipment, including mills, lathes, and other precision engineering machinery.
