About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd, a leading provider of facilities management services to the Ministry of Justice. As a Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, including HM Prison Erlestoke.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance operations to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Work with a team of experienced professionals to maintain a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements to our facilities management processes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience working as an electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Experience with electrical installation and maintenance, including C&G 2367 or 2357 and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations and health and safety regulations
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
