Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Reception team. This position is long-term, ongoing, and offers a range of opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Job
  • Assist in implementing daily phonics sessions, enhancing children's reading skills using your knowledge and experience.
  • Provide individual and group support to children, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
  • Contribute to planning and delivering creative activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
  2. Carry out general TA duties, including preparing resources, tidying up, and supervising outdoor play.
  3. Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding and experience of teaching phonics.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
