We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Home Treatment Team in Mendip. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective mental health treatment and intervention at home, reducing the need for hospital admissions.

About the Team:

Our Home Treatment Team is a dynamic and supportive team that works closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. We are passionate about providing safe and effective treatment at home, reducing the need for hospital admissions and promoting recovery and well-being.

Requirements:

  • RMN qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Significant post-registration experience in multi-disciplinary community mental health services
  • Experience of managing risk of clients in crisis and assessment, care-planning, development, and evaluation in conjunction with clients and carers
  • Ability to lead a team and work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, carers, and relatives about complex and sensitive issues
