Job Overview

Redstone Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Administrator to join their team in London. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing contracts, logistics, and operations related to commodity trading and shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clients and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient contract execution.
  • Monitor and manage contracts, including letters of credit, bank contracts, and bills of exchange.
  • Oversee shipping and invoicing documentation, including cargo release activities for metals such as steel, iron ore, pig iron, scrap metals, or other ferrous metals.
  • Liaise with banks to facilitate new business requests, payment/finance requests, loans, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to ensure seamless contract management and logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commodity trading and/or shipping environments.
  • Strong commercial sense and knowledge of metals, preferably within steel, iron ore, pig iron, scrap metals, or other ferrous metals.
  • Specific experience with invoicing and documentation, including letters of credit, bills of exchange, and bills of landing.
  • Knowledge of issuing certificates, including Certificates on Insurance and Certificates of Origin.
  • Located in London.
