We are seeking a highly experienced leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Operation Manager for the Adult Crisis Services in Cornwall. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and manage the strategy, vision, and operational delivery for these critical services.
">About the Role- Responsible for the operational management of Home Treatment Teams, Emergency Department Liaison, Mental Health Connect /111(2) services, Emergency Assessment Suites, Mental Health Ambulance, and admission avoidance developments.
- Accountable for delivering service priorities across mental health and physical health systems, ensuring KPIs and outcomes for each service are met.
- Translate service priorities into clear goals and objectives for managers and clinicians to deliver high-quality services with positive outcomes for service users and their families.
- Ensure robust clinical decision-making for each service, managing mental health and safeguarding risk through effective quality and clinical governance models.
- Responsible for setting quality standards, monitoring, and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
- Ensure team members document and act on changes in service users' physical/mental/emotional states, adhering to trust policies and procedures.
- Engage service users and their carers effectively with the service.
- Comply with governance audit frameworks.
- Participate in the Trust appraisal process to identify personal development and training needs.
- Support teams in research and lead issues of service modernization, clinical governance.
- Maintain confidentiality according to the Data Protection Act, Trust policy, and good practice.
- Conduct oneself professionally towards service users, carers, colleagues, and other agencies.
We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, delivering community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health.
Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
