About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager to join our team at Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in leading the planning and management of multi-discipline projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of engineering work to meet customer-agreed scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective management of multi-discipline teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of engineering work.
- Promote effective co-operation across Engineering and other functional teams.
- Ensure effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers.
- Technical management of the engineering output to ensure delivery of technical solutions in line with agreed technical scope.
- Ensure application of highest standards for health and safety in immediate area of responsibility.
- Manage resource demands and development of capability skills to match needs of future workload.
- Ensure project and technical audits and review are planned and executed in order to impart learning and experience as appropriate.
Requirements
- Demonstrable management experience, including experience in managing multi-discipline teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
- Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline with significant demonstrable experience.
