Job Description:

You will lead in the design and specification of Electrical Building Services, including LV Distribution, Power Generation, Small Power, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, Nurse call, Lightning Protection, Controls, etc., in accordance with current guidelines, standards, and regulations.

  • The design and specification of Electrical Building Services: You will design and specify LV Distribution, Power Generation, Small Power, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, Nurse call, Lightning Protection, Controls, etc., in accordance with current guidelines, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Low Carbon Technologies: You will apply and use low carbon technologies, including vehicle charging, PV generation, battery storage, etc.
  • Project Management: You will lead in the Project Management and delivery of Electrical Building Service related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget to the quality expectations of LCC.
  • Supporting External Consultants: You will support the Electrical Teams Project Manager in the effective delivery of all Building Service related projects and manage external consultants in the delivery of projects, ensuring KPIs are met and quality is maintained.
  • Liaising with Other Services: You will proactively liaise with other services within LCC and across other disciplines within the Building Design Team and wider Asset Management Service.
  • Providing Specialist Advice: You will provide specialist advice and guidance to internal/external customers, making technical/professional recommendations within the Electrical discipline.
