We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative central team in XPO Logistics. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a wide range of projects, including new warehouse and transport operations start-ups, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a sound foundation for projects from onset to deployment, ensuring clear understanding of scope, deliverables, approach, and critical success factors.
- Manage project schedules using tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling software.
- Document all data and analytics throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage Risks, Issues, and Project Scope & Deliverables.
- Coordinate, motivate, and support Workstream leads and operational resources to achieve project objectives.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience within a logistics projects team.
- Experience in whole project lifecycle delivery, ideally within the warehouse, transport, or supply chain arena.
- Ability to manage people well to complete projected deliverables on time.
- Prince2 or similar professional qualification.
- Effective risk management and contingency planning to mitigate project risks identified.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable, assertive, collaborative, and resilient.
- Analytical with high attention to detail, structured, and methodical.
