Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN/SEMH in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to cater to each student's unique needs.
  • Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of support/intervention programmes for SEND.
  • Patience, nurturing, and kind mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN.
  • Compassionate and proactive approach to supporting students.
  • Successful experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Passion for inclusive education and pupil success.
  • Confident and understanding attitude towards supporting diverse needs.
  • Open-minded and willing to learn and develop your skills.
