Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse in the Children's Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with leadership experience to take on a challenging role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses in the Children's Emergency Department, ensuring excellent patient care and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • Registered Children's Nurse (level 1 or 2)
  • Evidence of continued professional development and implementation in clinical practice within the last 12 months
  • At least 3 years at Band 5
  • Previous experience/insight working with children in ED
  • Working with a wide range of professionals

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
