Job Title: Software Development Expert for Vehicle Control Systems

Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Expert to join our team on an ongoing contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing software systems for vehicle control and driver's display.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program design, development, and delivery for vehicle primary control systems using PLC-based application software
  • Design, develop, and deliver software and parameter sets for chassis, powertrain, and body systems
  • Support the design of electrical hardware systems for diesel, hybrid (HEV), and electric (EV) vehicle platforms
  • Design and development of CAN communications systems and architecture
  • Design and development of vehicle diagnostic systems and tools
  • Provision and coordination of test plans for vehicle commissioning, testing, and data logging of vehicle control systems
  • Support vehicle testing and validation of systems and components
  • Provide technical documentation and support aftersales teams with customer problems and technical queries

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
