Role Overview

This is a Permanent Senior Mechanical Engineer position based in the UK. The successful candidate will work on a 7-year framework delivering specialist nuclear technical services valued between £250-million to £400-million.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and supervise the preparation of mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, quantity and cost estimates for various construction and maintenance projects.
  2. Maintain reference design documentation of extant assets through their lifecycle.
  3. Develop and manage design development throughout the design lifecycle (requirements development, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports) for new and modified equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering essential.
  • Detailed knowledge of standards, regulations, codes, and directives.
  • Proven knowledge of mechanical theories, principles, practices, and techniques.
