Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Associate Director of Culture, Leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our organisation and contribute to our mission to deliver exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the cultural elements that complement our Improving Together Programme, developing our approach to organisational design and development, and leading the development of robust strategies for leadership and management development.

They will also be responsible for championing inclusion in the Trust through the delivery of our long-term EDI plan and policy, and for leading the professional leadership, design, development, and implementation of a new educational vision and long-term plan for the learning and development function.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading and developing OD teams and services, with experience of operating at a senior level in the NHS or large public or private sector organisation. They will also have a proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, interpret and analyse complex data, and present to different audiences.

They will hold a relevant qualification, such as an MBA or MSC in OD/Psychology/HR Management or Business, and will be a member of a relevant professional body, such as the CIPD. They will also have evidence of ongoing personal and professional development, such as expert coach and facilitator training.
