Batch & Furnace Operator - Production Specialist

Job Summary
O-I is seeking a skilled Batch & Furnace Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating our furnace effectively and safely, while also supporting routine and non-routine maintenance in the areas covered by the Batch & Furnace team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the furnace in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal furnace performance
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operation of the production process
- Support the development and implementation of process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of furnace operation and maintenance procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
