Role Overview:
As a Clinical Immunology Specialist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert care to children and young people with immunological conditions and HIV. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring the advancement of patient-focused care through collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities:
To provide strong clinical leadership, assessing children's needs and developing tailored programmes of care. This will involve deputising for Consultant Immunologists in their absence, offering advice and guidance as necessary. You will also liaise with education teams, primary healthcare providers, and social services to ensure seamless care delivery. Your expertise will extend to managing safeguarding issues within the children's immunology or HIV services, collaborating closely with the Trust's safeguarding team.

Person Specification:
You must have experience working with children and young people with long-term conditions, demonstrating leadership and service development skills. Autonomous practice, community experience, and qualifications such as RN Child and Non-Medical Prescribing are essential. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for this post.
