The Job:
- As a Registered General Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
- You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans, oversee clinical care, and support both residents and their families during their time with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents' health and take appropriate action as needed.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and care assistants.
- Liaise with families and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures.
- Ensure the safety, dignity, and comfort of all residents at all times.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous nursing experience, preferably in elderly care.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of care.
- A team player with leadership potential.
Salary and Benefits:
£32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. Plus a comprehensive benefits package.
