About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative team, providing mental health services to adults in our community. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults with mental health conditions, as well as providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose adults with mental health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Person Specification
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

We are currently recruiting to a Community Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Mental Health Wellness Team - West, based at Mellmead House, 4 Orchard Close, Rodney Road, Wanstead, Redbridge, E11 2DH.
You will join a team of experienced consultants, trainee doctors, and ITP doctors, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
