Job Title: Adult Mental Health Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Mental Health Consultant to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to adults with mental health needs in East Barking and Dagenham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to adults with mental health needs.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  • Work directly with adults and their families, and liaise with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals as necessary.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, with a 3% on-call supplement.
  • Support peers and team leaders, and be an effective team member.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • CCT or equivalent.
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
