Overview

MCG Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider seeking experienced and certified Practice Nurses for locum work in Essex-based GP practices.

We invite qualified candidates to apply for long-term or part-time/ad hoc opportunities, offering a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver assessment, screening, and treatment services, as well as health education advice, adhering to agreed protocols.
  • Provide nursing care to patients, either in conjunction with GPs or independently, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Conduct general and specific health screenings for practice patients (within agreed protocols) and refer to GPs when necessary.
  • Offer guidance on general healthcare and minor ailments, referring to GPs when required.
  • Perform phlebotomy tasks, applying best practices in infection control.
  • Apply dressings and maintain proper wound care procedures.
