Job Title: Senior LIMS Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior LIMS Developer to join our team at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Cambridge, MA. As a key member of our Regeneron Cell Medicines (RCM) unit, you will play a critical role in supporting our scientists and engineers in the design, development, and implementation of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with scientists to understand their data capture, analysis, and reporting requirements
  • Customize LIMS for sample inventories and workflows in early research and process development labs
  • Develop, configure, and support various IT systems
  • Gather and refine business requirements and user stories to build or enhance data solutions
  • Collaborate with vendors to address technical issues on existing software and define new enhancements based on user requirements
Requirements:
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and supporting various informatics software platforms
  • Hands-on experience with LIMS, including for sample inventories and lab workflows for R&D teams in biopharma
  • Experience working with R&D scientists to develop business requirements and user stories
  • Prioritized and delivered multiple initiatives in an agile environment

In order to be considered for this position, you must have an advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or similar field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in programming and customization within Sapio Laboratory Inventory Management Systems. Experience with Python and object-oriented programming is also required. Additionally, you must be onsite at least 3 days a week, subject to management review.
