Job Overview

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to manage the payroll function and provide expert advice on payroll matters. This is a challenging role that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual who can ensure compliance with statutory legislation and organisational policies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, with advanced knowledge of legislation and procedures. You will also possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to advise senior management and employees on payroll matters.

About the Role

As the Payroll Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and overseeing the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Advising senior management and employees on payroll matters, legislation, and procedures.
  • Ensuring changes in payroll legislation and policies are interpreted and implemented promptly and effectively.
  • Producing and reconciling year-end data, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, contributing to key projects and policy development.
  • Providing leadership and development to the payroll team, setting workloads, monitoring performance, and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
