Job Summary:

Omega is seeking a Quality Manager to provide technical expertise to our Kent site. The successful candidate will drive the Quality vision for the site, championing Product Safety, Quality, and Legality, while engaging with Operations teams to improve standards and output through best practice performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive, effectively communicate, and develop a quality culture for the designated product types and processes within the designated areas
  • Manage the Quality program for the end-to-end process by engaging with the relevant QA techs and Ops teams
  • Own and manage the output from all internal audits and 2nd/3rd party inspections where applicable to the role
  • Work with QA systems manager to review KPI data for the specific process lines and develop reduction or improvement plans to suit
  • Lead continuous improvement projects for quality to reduce complaints, cost, waste, and support and guide other departments
  • Develop Process Quality Control (PQC) procedures and monitor compliance and communicate effectively

Requirements:

  • HACCP Level 3+
  • Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene, or relevant experience
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and BRC/Retailer requirements
