About the Role:

The Day Cook will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service while adhering to health and safety guidelines. This skilled position requires the Day Cook to undertake daily food preparation and cooking activities to ensure the delivery of a premium meal service to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve culinary excellence and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • BOSIET (HUET) certification.
  • Catering qualification and/or time-served experience.
  • Food Hygiene certification (preferably up-to-date).
  • STCW certification.
