About the Role:

The Day Cook will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service while adhering to health and safety guidelines. This skilled position requires the Day Cook to undertake daily food preparation and cooking activities to ensure the delivery of a premium meal service to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the catering service.

Requirements:

  • Relevant catering qualification and/or time-served experience.
  • Food Hygiene certification (desirable).
  • STCW certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
