Reed Legal is seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to support the smooth running of the finance department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in book-keeping and general accounting, particularly in legal accounting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the office bank account and performing banking functions, including bank reconciliations.
  • Processing client and office accounting transactions, including postings.
  • Assisting in sending monies via electronic transfer using the banking system.
  • Controlling designated client deposit accounts, including monthly reconciliations.
  • Processing new clients, ensuring AML procedures are followed and dealing with source of funds issues.
  • Managing the input of all Land Registry and Companies House fees.
  • Addressing any accounts queries as they arise.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Trained in the principles of book-keeping and general accounting.
  • Good knowledge of bank reconciliation.
  • Experience with legal accounting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using financial systems such as Quill and First AML desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
