Financial Administrator

Reed Legal is seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to support the smooth running of the finance department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in book-keeping and general accounting, particularly in legal accounting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the office bank account and performing banking functions, including bank reconciliations.
- Processing client and office accounting transactions, including postings.
- Assisting in sending monies via electronic transfer using the banking system.
- Controlling designated client deposit accounts, including monthly reconciliations.
- Processing new clients, ensuring AML procedures are followed and dealing with source of funds issues.
- Managing the input of all Land Registry and Companies House fees.
- Addressing any accounts queries as they arise.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Trained in the principles of book-keeping and general accounting.
- Good knowledge of bank reconciliation.
- Experience with legal accounting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using financial systems such as Quill and First AML desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
