Job Title: Telemedical Lead Nurse/Midwife

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse or Midwife to join our team as a Telemedical Lead Nurse/Midwife. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to our clients.

About the Role

As a Telemedical Lead Nurse/Midwife, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and mentoring a remote clinical team of nurses and midwives involved in the provision of the telemedical termination service. You will also deputise in the absence of the Treatment Unit Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of telemedical care in accordance with NMC Guidelines for Professional Practice.
  • Assist the Unit Manager in setting budgets for the Unit and ensuring that CQC standards are maintained.
  • Audit client pathways and practitioners to ensure compliance with BPAS policies, and implement/review action plans where required.
Requirements

You will be a Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or Midwife (practising) with experience of working within a clinical environment, where you have supervised or managed other clinical staff. You will have experience of working to guidelines, policies, and procedures, and also have experience of completing client documentation.

Gynaecological nursing experience or relevant specialty, i.e., sexual health, contraception, is highly desirable.

Salary: £41,807 - £49,238 per annum pro rata - depending on skills and experience.

Location: BPAS Doncaster Hub, Danum Lodge Clinic, 123 Thorne Rd, Doncaster DN25BQ - once trained, this role will be a mix of hub and home working.
