Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join their team at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to infants requiring admission to the neonatal unit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal nursing, with experience in providing care to infants with complex needs. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.

The role will involve working closely with the Family Integrated Care (FIC) Team, providing care to infants and their families, and contributing to the development of the neonatal unit. The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to infants requiring admission to the neonatal unit.
  • Work closely with the Family Integrated Care (FIC) Team to provide care to infants and their families.
  • Contribute to the development of the neonatal unit, including the implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of new staff members.
