Interim Service Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Fostering and Adoption Services in Tameside, Greater Manchester. As the Interim Service Manager, you will oversee the Fostering Services, Placements Team, and liaise with the Regional Adoption Agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the fostering service to deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Prepare for and manage inspections, striving for outstanding results.
  • Engage foster carers and children in shaping and improving service delivery.
  • Take a leadership role in fulfilling corporate parenting duties and ensuring high aspirations for all children.
  • Support, motivate, and manage staff to deliver high-quality services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Regional Adoption Agency.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' management experience in fostering and adoption services.
  • Proven leadership in developing fostering & adoption teams and services.
